Schuchart Hutchinson was founded to meet the strong preference of Northwest companies to partner with local expertise. Our firm brings together multiple facets of the commercial real estate industry under one roof, uniting the strengths of the Schuchart and Hutchinson families. With decades of combined experience, we provide a uniquely integrated suite of advisory services across commercial construction, development, and brokerage.

Day-to-day operations are led by founding partner Scott Hutchinson, a long-time development manager with deep experience supporting many of the region’s leading commercial real estate firms. Co-Founders George and Casey Schuchart complement this leadership with strategic guidance informed by five generations of experience in the commercial construction industry.

Our strategic commitment is straightforward: reduce and streamline as many cost centers within a commercial real estate transaction as possible to deliver the highest value to our clients. By consistently adhering to this principle, we have built enduring partnerships and long-standing professional relationships with both clients and investors.

Principals

SCOTT HUTCHINSON – is the President of Schuchart Hutchinson LLC. With 20+ years in the field, Scott has driven projects worth over $400 million across industrial, office, and multifamily sectors, amassing more than 5.8 million square feet. He plays a crucial role at Northshore, overseeing development stages from land acquisition to project disposition, and excels in forming brokerage alliances and leading fundraising efforts.

CASEY SCHUCHART – is the Vice President of Schuchart Hutchinson LLC. Casey’s experience began in high school and college working as a laborer for Schuchart Construction. Throughout the years, he’s taken on more challenging roles; ranging from his work with the Chief Estimator to his previous position as Sr. Project Engineer, to his current role as President. Casey supports new project pursuits and construction analysis for Schuchart Hutchinson LLC.

GEORGE SCHUCHART – Founded (Retired) Schuchart Corporation in 1988, and since, built a client list and reputation envied by many construction companies in the area. His understanding of the construction industry, and experience with large and small projects, established an excellent background to support the company and its efforts. George provides day to day executive management for Schuchart Hutchinson LLC.

Business Development

BRYAN SHAUGHNESSY – A Northwest native, Bryan began his commercial real estate career in 2005 with the Seattle-based REIT Kennedy Associates (now Bentall Kennedy), where he managed a West Coast portfolio exceeding $500 million, encompassing acquisitions, dispositions, and development. After gaining institutional-level insight into the industry, Bryan transitioned to the brokerage side to work more directly and personally with local clients.

For more than a decade, he has advised clients on a diverse range of leasing, development, and investment sale transactions throughout the Northwest. Bryan is known for his methodical, step-by-step approach and his strong commitment to client service—qualities he brings to every engagement at Schuchart Hutchinson.
